Estudiantes de La Plata have introduced their 2026 Ruge third kit, expanding the club’s matchwear range with an alternative design for the 2026 AFA Liga Profesional de Fútbol season.
Estudiantes Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Estudiantes jersey features a black base, with tonal grey graphic patterns applied across the shoulders and sleeves. Red piping runs along the front seams and sleeve edges, providing definition across the body of the shirt, while gold detailing is used for the crest and manufacturer logo.
The Estudiantes crest appears on the left chest in a gold execution, featuring the EDLP shield with three vertical bars and a single star above, rendered in a tonal gold-to-red gradient with a fine outlined border. The manufacturer logo is positioned opposite. The main shirt sponsor, Supervielle, is applied centrally in a contrasting red print. Additional sponsor branding is located on the sleeves, maintaining visibility against the dark base.
Technical Features
Constructed from a lightweight Ruge performance polyester, the shirt features a smooth outer surface and micro-perforated ventilation zones. These panels are positioned along the sides and under the arms to support airflow and moisture management. The quick-drying material is designed to perform in both match and training conditions.
An updated fit is used across the 2026 Estudiantes kits, with a more streamlined cut through the torso and sleeves to allow improved movement. Internal detailing includes a “Producto Original Ruge” authenticity label near the hem.

The new Estudiantes shirt is paired with matching black shorts and socks, both featuring red accent elements, to form the full third strip for the 2026 AFA Liga Profesional de Fútbol campaign in Argentina.
