Nike have unveiled the USMNT 2026 Away kit, a dark alternate strip prepared for the national team’s upcoming international competitions, including the FIFA 2026 World Cup.
The new United States jersey features a Dark Obsidian base with a tonal star pattern integrated across the front panel and shoulders. The stars appear as a textured graphic within the fabric structure in Pure Platinum, referencing elements associated with the United States flag. Thin University Red piping details run along the shoulder seams and side panels, adding contrast to the otherwise dark colour scheme.
On the chest, the USA badge appears in white and navy, positioned opposite a silver Nike Swoosh. The shirt uses a simple crew neck collar, while the interior collar graphic includes a stylised “USA” script detail.
The shirt is constructed using Nike’s Aero-FIT performance fabric system. The technology is engineered at the yarn and stitch level to create a textured knit structure with open and closed mesh zones designed to promote airflow and assist with temperature regulation during play.
The new United States football shirt is paired with Dark Obsidian shorts and matching socks, completing the full alternate strip worn by the United States national team as part of Nike’s wider 2026 Federation Collection.
