Victor Chandler is to become the official sponsor of the club for an initial one-year term for a significant six-figure sum.
The deal will see the Victor Chandler name displayed on the front of Forest's first team and reserve shirts, as well as being available on adult replica shirts.
In addition to the sponsorship deal, Victor Chandler have also announced the appointment of Viv Anderson MBE as the company's Football Ambassador.
Anderson made 328 appearances for Nottingham Forest between 1974 and 1984 and was a key member of their double European Cup winning team.
Chairman Victor Chandler commented: "I am delighted with the agreement to sponsor Nottingham Forest and to welcome on board someone steeped in Nottingham Forest history as Viv Anderson is.
"Nottingham Forest have been a pleasure to deal with and I am excited about the opportunities which lie ahead for both organisations.
"My only concern is offering the 40/1 top price about them winning the Championship this season!"
Forest's Chief Executive Mark Arthur said: "We are delighted to have secured a sponsorship deal with such a prestigious sporting brand.
"It's the largest investment Victor Chandler have made in the world of football and we're honoured they have chosen to link-up with us.
"We're looking forward to what we hope will prove to be a hugely successful partnership."
Following the announcement of the new sponsorship, the club hope to be in a position to reveal full details of the new kit launch within the next few days.
