A set of football results that two men risked death to produce during Guernsey's Nazi occupation has sold for £900 at a UK auction.
L E Bertrand and Reginald Warley compiled the results of English and Scottish matches for Guernsey's Secret Active Press in 1944.
They would have faced execution if the banned typewritten document was found.
Auctioneers Mullock Madeley had given an estimate of £300-500 ahead of the Shropshire auction.
Historical document expert Richard Westwood-Brookes said football memorabilia usually attracted people in search of unique items.
"But this must rank as the rarest set of football results ever produced," he said.

Brazilian right full back Juliano Belletti, scorer of the wining goal in last season's Champions League final against Arsenal, has donated his goal scoring boots to the Barca Museum.
Belletti scored the 2-1 winner in the final and the original boots are on display in the Barca Museum next to the shiny European Cup won in Paris in May. Belletti has signed the right boot, the one he used to shoot and beat Arsenal´s goalkeeper Manuel Almunia to win the European trophy for Barca. Belletti dedicated the left boot to the museum, including the 2-1 result and "Barca!" written on it.

Today April 3rd 2007 around 100 rare football shirts go under the hammer at Christie's auction house. One of them is a shirt worn by Arsenal Captain Joe Mercer in the 1950 F.A.Cup Final.
In this match played on 29th April 1950 at Wembley Arsenal defeated Liverpool 2-0 and is estimated at GBP 5,000 - 8,000
Another great shirt was worn by Alan Ball in the 1972 Centenary F.A.Cup Final. In the match played on 6th May 1972 at Wembley Leeds United defeated Arsenal 1-0 and is estimated at GBP 1,200 - 1,800.
My personal favourite is the one worn by Kenny Dalglish in the the Glasgow F.A. Select v. The Football League, Glasgow Jubilee Appeal match.
The match was played to commemorate the Queen's 1977 Silver Jubilee. In the match played on 17th May at Hampden Park, the Glasgow F.A. Select defeated The Football League 2-1, with goals from Sandy Jardine (pen) and Kenny Dalglish. The colours of the shirt represents the five Glasgow based football teams, Celtic, Rangers, Partick Thistle, Clyde and Queen's Park .The list goes on and on.. . Must be great working at Christie's ![]()

After the Colwyn Bay match there is to be a charity auction in the Moat Ground social club with some fantastic football memorabilia, gifts, and local attraction lots; all kindly donated. The auction is in aid of Alzheimer's charities following the diagnosis of the wife of the Gresley Rovers former manager Frank Northwood.
Lots include a 1991 Gresley Rover FA Vase Final Shirt signed by some of the players from the day, signed footballs from the current Tottenham and Sunderland squads and a 2003 squad signed Manchester City football.
Notts County have provided a signed first team shirt and they also have a Jeff Hughes signed Northern Ireland shirt.
They have 4 match day tickets plus car park space for Derby's last home game of the season against Leeds - a match that I am sure will be a sell out - this was kindly donated by Derby County, with match days tickets also available from MK Dons and Walsall.

The Wednesday before last I went to an auction of football memorabilia at Ludlow racecourse. I went mainly because I had heard on the radio that one of the lots was to be a menu signed by the Busby Babes. Not just any menu, either, but one from a dinner at the Majestic Hotel in Belgrade following the 3-3 draw with Red Star Belgrade on 5 January 1958, on the very eve of the Munich air crash.
This menu was almost certainly the last thing signed by Duncan Edwards, Roger Byrne, Tommy Taylor, Eddie Colman, David Pegg, Liam Whelan, Mark Jones and Geoff Bent during a convivial evening in which it must have seemed as if the world was theirs for the taking. Despite having led 3-0 at half-time and been forced to settle for a draw, they had just reached the semi-final of the European Cup.
